Aleph (א) is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet, carrying the numerical value of 1. As a silent letter, it embodies the primordial breath, unity, and the infinite divine source from which all creation begins. Mystically formed by a diagonal line connecting upper and lower points, it represents the bridge between heaven and earth. Aleph stands as a profound symbol of absolute oneness, quiet strength, and limitless beginnings.

Part of a series exploring the initial drafting of the letter for human communication in ancient times, and its relationship to our modern era.
